Last night's sleep was horrific. We tossed and turned ALL night and were soaking with sweat. Even the water we tried to splash our faces with wasn't cold. Needless to say we both had a cold shower this morning and headed down for breakfast consisting of cereal and waffles. I had both. ... This is where they hang all their pennants for their sporting achievements; there were plenty of them! Outside the baseball team were training out on the diamond and they offered us a chance to hit a few balls. Mr Daryl Lilley and Toby Burkett took up the offer. ... back in for our flight to Auckland then we headed out into the city. The man at passport control had said it would be way too boring to wait at the airport all day so he suggested we catch a bus to Santa Monica beach.
