We slept in a bit Sunday morning and attended the Crossroads service at Grace Community Church, the service aimed at the college kid and young adult audience. The service was very good and all seven of us, plus Lydia's roommate Chrystal, went out to eat afterward. Today was cool and breezy. Kurt and I wandered all over the Venice Boardwalk & spent some time just chillaxin on the beach. Did a little shopping, had some lunch, then home for a nap before the boys set out for the Santa Monica Pier to celebrate NYE. I had planned to go along, but woke up with a migraine so I stayed in. ... and running again. But, yes, this is the slow day. It is a coin toss as to which stop is first but we are off to the Farmer's Market and The Grove. The Farmer's Market, in the Fairfax district, has been in business since 1934. We had to rent a car it was red. Dad drove on the right side of the road to the space center. We did a bus trip,out of the center to the launch pads. On the way we saw some alligators, and some lizards, the crawler was so big, it carried the space shops to the launch pads for launch. They went 1 mile per hour. The launch pads were on a slope and the crawler had to get the. rocket there without tipping it off. I did a launch simulator, it was very cool. It was bumpy and ...
