Weeks Five and Six and Seven
... my next leg of the journey - a 9 day tour of parts of Eastern Europe. I'll be seeing sights in Czech Reoublic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Croatia. Then, I'm praying the warm weather will still be around while I spend a week in Croatia. Well, that's the plan for now, but we'll see what sways me over the next bit. Bike Ride Barcelona and Bullfights
... are man-made, and were created using desert sand from Egypt before the 1992 Olympic Games. The sand is a bit rough and dirty, but seems to do the job. My god, Barcelona
... incredible – we could not get over it when we first laid our eyes on the Sagrada Familia (more later in the blog, but basically the most famous of the Gaudi’s, comprising one massive gothic looking church). It was absolutely enormous, and really dominated the view of the entire city. We were in awe of that building from that moment onward, and this feeling only increased the more the day wore on and the closer we got to it.

Part 3-Barcelona's Gaudi, futbol and hot chocolate
... lost her hat, so she was feeling a bit down in the dumps. We were making our way back and passed a cute little cafe and to make herself feel better, she decided hot chocolate and churros were the answer. I can't even describe how good this hot chocolate was, it was more like pudding. The churros were unlike anything I've had in the States.
By this time, it was getting late, so we ate dinner by our hotel in a little restaurant ...
