... I am very excited about giving this a shot. My plan is to be there til July with a 2 week break in April, to renew my Permesso etc.., and then July return to the US for about a month..to do my CE for my investment licenses, to see my sister and family in Albuquerque, AND to sail the coast of Maine with an old friend who crewed when I sailed to Bermuda. By then I will have made my decision if I am ...

We would still be there if I didn't stand up in the middle of it all and say goodbye [don't worry I was reasonably diplomatic]. Then we had to get some biscuits (well Flynn did) from the lady across the road. She even smiled. Gaetano came up to say goodbye and all the nonas turned out to wave us ...

... car' and we took the kids to the beach voted 'Best Beach in Italy', San Vito Lo Capo. It's a white sand beach with a big mountain behind it, looking a lot like a small version of Ipanema beach in Rio. The kids revelled in the sandy conditions and the water was amazing. The kids are getting brown as buttons except for their chests... they're the only kids with rashies/swim shirts on that we've seen. Italian children seem a little too brown. Mel's adventurous nature and ...
