We traveled from Aunt Peggy & Sheldon's house to Henderson, NC. I rode criss-cross applesauce all the way to our hotel. Mom drove. It rained the first half of the way.

Aunt Roz's family is from Hartwell, GA. We crossed over lake Hartwell on our way into SC. In SC, we went passed Clemson University.

Why the Vanderbuilts of course....Next stop----Clio, ...

To prepare for my travels I have read Thriving in Cross-Culture Ministry By Carissa Alma. The book was an extremely easy read and held my short ...

... I had a hiking day. We went to Chimney Rock State Park about 36 miles away. We opted for the stairway trail to the top of Chimney Rock which is about 465 stairs up and the same down. Pretty strenuous for us old folks but that was the goal of the day. At the top of this climb we then took the Skyline Trail which ascends to the highest point in the park. After all that climbing we couldn't pass up the Four Seasons trail which started in the upper meadows and went up ...
