When we sailed from Budapest, we boarded the ship Mimir not our booked ship the Vili which could not make it downstream to Budapest. The temperature reached 35 degrees. Once up there we enjoyed a refreshing beer before walking back down to return to the ship. We freshened up and went to the bar to play some cards and enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Today I enjoyed a Mojita, a ...

Up early as we were off on the optional extra to "Cesky Krumlov in Czech Republic", (another country) the Jewel of Bohemia, a quaint town that is protected by UNESCO & must be restored to its former medieval glory.

Our guide Peter shared the following
    - Linz township has a strong steel & plastic industry
    - average farm in Austria is 25 ha & milks about 10 cows
    - quite a number of Czech words have no vowels, he sad an interesting ...
