Today has been an adventure. We first had to get a taxi (our first of this trip) to get to the airport to pick up the rental car. The Rijeka airport is actually on an island about 20-30 minutes away from town. At least we got to see more of the surrounding area! From there, we drove west to the city of Pula. Today we drove through the winding roads in the mountains to the island of Cres. This is where the Kroncich's immigrated from. The ride was ridiculous. Two hours of curvy roads along side cliffs that would often go down to one lane. I pretty much lost it.
