Rovinj is a city in Croatia on the Istrian peninsula. We spent three nights there. It rained, but we still got the chance to go for swim. The water was so clear you could see your feet and lots of dead jellyfish. In the mediterranean sea there is lots of jellyfish.

... at the boat .... is she moving? No .... just swinging around a bit! Neville and myself walk along the path a bit for a better look .... the boat is definitely moving ... oh no, but where's the buoy it's tied on to? The men quickly jump back into "Tom Thumb" trying to row as quickly as they can ..... just when an outboard would be handy. They jump back onto the boat and find the boat to be dragging the buoy behind it. I don't think these buoys are meant for ...

We stayed in Porec last night and ate at Pizza Nonos for lunch. This little town is the most touristy of any that we have
been in. We loved the coastal walk around the old city.
In the afternoon, we drove to another coastal town, Ravinj, and loved this place the best of all! ...

... and the Deckhead spent the next hour fishing for the rope and anchor in seven metres of water. The girls begin to pray to Mum .... desperation fills the air. Neville finally hits the jackpot, hooks onto the rope ... Alleluia! Bo Bo and myself fall to our knees in thanksgiving ..... mum to the rescue.........again! Lucky, we bought these rods even if we don't catch a fish! The night ended a little uncomfortable to say the least! The men take the garbage to shore before we leave. ...

And so having left lovely Slovenia, we drive down the Croatian coast a short way to the delightful little village of Vsar. The campsite, Camping Osera on the outskirts of the village is perfect. We have a view overlooking the Adriatic Sea, and a small restaurant nearby. The only thing were lacking at the moment is sunshine in large amounts. The washing has been done, but the rain isn't letting me get it ...
