... Lisa and I wheeled our suitcases and bags as fast as we could through the crowds who were going the other way to second class, and got on the first first class car we could find. The result was that we had to wheel our bags with our backpacks and purses through three cars to ours. At first it was annoying, but it turned out to be good luck.

In total we have walked/ visited "seven!" xmas markets in Cologne,, the city has put on a magnificent show.. from the city centre..Cologne is located on both sides of the Rhine River... to the riverside markets.. the visit to this city of one million plus has delighted us...

No hotel accommodation for us tonite.. the overnite train to Prague awaits !! All aboard...

Over 160 specially designed & decorated "cabins" featuring Christmas music, arts and crafts, toys, Christmas decorations and the scent of the Christmas bakeries creating a wonderful atmosphere. The aroma of mulled wine, hot chestnuts gingerbread and many tempting national dishes fills the air.

Nuestro segundo día estaba dedicado a Colonia. Resulta que el 11 del 11 a las 11:11 se da oficialmente abierto el carnaval de Colonia. Lo loco es que en realidad el carnaval sigue después en febrero y marzo pero bueno nos venia como anillo al dedo.

Respecto al carnaval.... una locura, he decidido que los alemanes están de la cabeza jaja. Realmente saben como divertirse ...
