No travelling today so we were able to have a leisurely breakfast and do a few domestic chores before setting off on the Brompton bikes along the radweg which follows the Mulde river to Rochlitz. Mainly a very pleasant route through the countryside. ... Lots of information (all forgotten now) and a good interactive section where you could listen to his music and amplify the different instruments as they played their bit of the composition. Very clever man and he wrote a lot of music.

Also home to Richard Wagner, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, the Gewandhaus Orchestra, the St Thomas Boys Choir and many many more notable composers and musicians.
