... were surrounded by Indian restaurants. Awesome!! We quickly parked in one and had a decent but not overwhelming meal. Still nice to have Indian.
-we had learned at the front desk that today is the last dayof "Bach-fest" so we headed over to the info center to get more data. We got a schedule of events and directions to the event tent where we learned we could get last minute tickets ...

... or activity on Sundays. In a smaller city like Leipzig this makes everything rather quiet. It strikes me as somewhat of a student town. I'm in no rush to get to Munich tomorrow so I might do a bit of an explore before I leave.

When I say explore, I really mean go back to the video game store which had lots of retro consoles in the windows. They had a Philips CD-i. No one had a Philips CD-i.

Three Months In

... to me, and I want to make the most of it. Having that on the horizon has kept me going. I honestly don't know what my mindset would be if I was facing another month and a half solo. It's possible I'd be on an early flight home.

The last third of my travels includes a couple of shifts in location and direction which will, hopefully, keep things interesting. Fingers crossed there are a couple good nights of sleep in my immediate future also.

The museum was very interesting, although I’m not very intrigued by Leipzig’s history, so I didn’t spend too much time in the museum except for the section about the Lutheran Reformation. I learned a lot more about the circumstances at the time. I learned about Kaiser Maximilian I, who ruled as emperor starting in 1486. I also saw typical church equipment and the wedding ring of Katharina von Bora.
