    ... Wagner's, dead mask was in the museum too. I liked the royal family picture and the section about his engagement with his cousin Sophie. Prince Otto is 3 years younger than Ludwig II.

    ... memorable were the Imperial Palace, Sisi's museum & St. Stephens Cathedral. The story of Sisi (Elizabeth, empress of Austria) is quite fascinating, I would encourage you to google her & read about her life.

    Today we took the train from Vienna to Kitzbuhel. We had to transfer trains in Worgl, & expected to have 16 mins to make the connections. Well ...

    ... we had a drink at the bar and took our laptop down there where it works a lot better!! Tonight we walked down to what seems like a local social club. It was full of Austrians and they seem to be enjoying themselves. The meal was okay – I had fish but as you can tell it wasn’t outstanding. Doesn’t matter. Back in the room for planning for tomorrow and it doesn’t seem that noisy after all thank goodness.

    ... Very cool.

    We spent about an hour and half wandering around and then headed back down the hill to the tour office, but not before we stopped at at cafe and bought the best stuffed prezel I have had (cheese and bacon). And speaking of meat, this country is absolutely meat crazy. These folks have never seen a food they could not stuff or layer with meat (and cheese for that matter). And I have yet to have a bad meal … if your a vegetarian I do not recommend ...

    ... when we finally got to the end of the tunnels, but unfortunately the clouds had really started to come down over the mountains, so the view wasn't that great anymore. Although it was cool to look back and see all the tunnel-openings behind us. We wanted to walk a little farther in the open, but unfortunately it looked like the views weren't going to be great for quite a while. So we just sat down for a while before heading back.
