... day on Melbourne Cup Day 2012......we are so proud of her and her life at the moment......we think we did a pretty good job....but we did hear that her phone went missing after a party at her house in Paddington.....I contacted Interpol....I asked them to implement an international search and double checks at all airports....they just said " Not Alex Adams again....we are sick of looking for her photos...cameras....bags....forget it"...we were glad to hear that it turned up ...

... 3 miles uphill is no mean feat and all of us arrived at the mountain farm station in good spirits and not too clapped out. The descent could have proved to be more than challenging, pretty much direct downhill through the forest, but the forest cover meant there was no ice to worry us and the descent was easy. ... for the Karwendel gondola ride up to Zwölferkopf from Pertisau. We had aimed to ride up and walk back down, but the grumpy old git at the cash desk would only grunt that there was too much snow and ice at the top, hence too dangerous to walk down.
