... with very old half-timbered houses covered in red geraniums and cascading flowers. The Alsatian people can make flower pots out of most anything. We left Bellagio at 8am since we were unsure of turning in the car at the same train station we were leaving from. There are many train stations in Milan. All was ok. We actually went to McDonalds in the Milan Centrale station. McDonalds is so different in Europe. Beer, wine, pastries, cappuccino, espresso, a deluxe mc muffin, which is just a sausage patty, lettuce, tomato, mayo on an English Muffin. Anyway.... It seems like the only time I eat at McDonald's is in Europe. Lots of waiting ...

... easy. First we had to get our luggage traced and delivered to the carousel. This is after standing in line patiently. Then the first train to Basel was about an hour late. Not only that but it switched tracks on us, but good thing we met a South African who had family in the French part of Basel and spoke German and he told us of the track switch on the loud speaker.
