... flight and arriving in Bremen in time to join Elena's preparty before the international day party took place in the city. Having arrived less than half an hour before, at the pre party I was already fondly reminded of how fun the Erasmus experience was, being able to catch up with my good friends, meet new people and all under the influence of some booze.
Waking up on Friday I went along with my German friends to a Sushi ...
... big Derby game was on Werder-HSV but we couldn't get tickets as it was sold out. Excitedly we realised our hotel had sky Bundesliga so we could watch it in our room! Werder one and the whole town partied for days!!
Going to the airport, we watched the town centre fade into the distance as the tram travelled over the bridge. We rubbed the Town Musician Donkey's legs....it is the lucky thing to do to make sure you return to Bremen again.
... to these people I knew, was myself! Ironically wearing the very same shirt I had put on that night. The night was a success, that of cause ended with me doing some dodgy dancing (see pictures for more information).
The next day Elena and co. had class once more, and so I took the opportunity to have a long lie in, which in the end resulted in my sleeping until class ended pretty much. We then all went into the city to see the Christmas ...
... The bakery was a sight to behold with fresh breads, rolls, cakes and christmas delights as far as the eye could see. We managed to order what we wanted although it did get confusing when we were asked if we wanted a plastic bag and this was eventually worked out and we headed back.
M had prepared a traditional German Farmers Breakfast, this was cooked potatoes, bacon then egg was added to make it almost like a frittata and is eaten ...

On the Friday evening we had our Erasmus farewell party. The exchange students were all treated to some speeches and music before a buffet, with pictures of our Erasmus time we shown on the big screen. We were given our certificates of participation as well as given a prize. I had won a cup, but as I already had one, I swapped mine for a T-shirt. After the party the local ...
