... We also checked out the view of Prague that Pražský hrad provided, which was quite lovely. After venturing back down the castle, we caught a Metro to the Old Town Prague area to find some dinner. Since it was July 4th, we decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Prague, as it felt most appropriate. It was very good, and it was nice to be in an American-themed restaurant! ... find my next gate, I sped walked to the terminal and found my next plane to Vienna, Austria. What do you know, same small plane, yikes. Only a 45 minute flight this time. 'Drink? Snack? Prepare for descent'. Phew, almost there, 30 minutes to find my next gate, with the addition of customs. And my third flight in 3 hours, yup, same type of plane. Load, sit, drink, descent, 40 minutes to Prague this time. Wow, I just crossed three countries in four hours..... ...

It wasn't as hot today, so it was a lot more pleasant walking around. We did a little bit of shopping at the start, so Terry had to cart it around all day. I will need some creative packing to fit it all in.

For lunch we went to U Parlamentu for some traditional Czech cuisine. Terry had the local speciality of a 1300g pork knee. He nearly couldn't finish it. I had beef in cream sauce with potato dumplings. We both had a pint of the local pilsener. It was all delicious, ...

... We tried to call the hotel but there is no one in the room. At this point she was getting quite worried that something might happen to him but there has been no ambulance the last hour so it shouldn't be the case. We waited almost 2 hours and we don't see the point of waiting anymore. So we suggest that she return to the hotel and check, otherwise the hotel should be able to help her. She stays in the hotel on the other side, across Charles bridge ...
