It was so nice not to have to set the alarm for this morning, although that didnt stop me waking up at stupid o'clock. After an hour laying in bed waiting for Emma to also wake up before giving in and deciding to beat the rush for the shower, we dedcovered we had woken up at the same time and had exactly the same plan! ... with a great band, we stopped and listened for awhile. Then continued walking through the park and the neighbourhood that declined in economic prosperity as you went down the hill and the graffiti got worse as well. We then caught the tram back to Charles bridge and walked to cafe slaviia, to have a late afternoon tea of yummy pancakes! ... a very good guide and he showed us around all the main sites of the old town. Declan had moved from Ireland and been living in Prague for around 5 years. The tour was very informative and entertaining as Declan had been involved in theatre prior to becoming a guide in Prague and this showed through. He was able to keep the large group interested.
