Stopped at the Greek port of Argostoli. Very small town. Part of the Kelonica Island. What is amazing how a cruise ship this size managers to dock at such a small town, part of a canal so to speak. We were fascinated to see the fishermen weighing up their fish and selling from the side of the boats. While there we had the great surprise of seeing the turtles, surface around the boats, waiting ...

Nine Muses - perfect hotel in a perfect location

Our hotel 'Nine Muses' is a great unobtrusive complex right on the water front in a quiet area. This was our second visit, having previously stayed 3 or 4 years previously. We looked at other hotels in the area, some very classy looking, however, some were further along the resort, really on the suburbs and not a quick walk to the main street and lovely restaurants, shops etc., So we decided that as we had previously had a wonderful stay we knew what we ...
