... after Ebesan, we encountered this new highway our campsite man had spoke of, brand spanking flash as four lane job that tommy had no idea about. I can appreciate how rough it would have been without considering we went through a 2.3km tunnel at one point under a very high mountain range. It didn't last the whole way as part was still under construction but made for surprisingly present ride to Tirana anyways. The city was another story. We ...

I was silently wishing that I had put a bit more effort into my appearance and wasn't quite so hungover and then Eliza came and fixed up my necklace which was looking as askew as I was feeling at the time. Then we said goodbye to them and went on our merry way. Welcome to Tirana!

... One consists of a pyramid shaped rock on top of which there is a small church. I wonder how many worshipers can make it up that rock to church.

At Stari Bar (star means old) we climbed around the partly reconstructed fortress and old walled town. With a burst of enthusiasm that lasted long enough to put up some signs and do a bit of rebuilding this reconstruction project started in 1985, had come to a stop. I think it’s a long time ...
