I've been flying all night and feel like it. On the flight to Athens I couldn't pick my seat ahead of time and ended up with a window seat. Turned out to be the best seat I've had in a while - I slept against the window for about an hour. Then got a great view of the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus Olympia, and the bright blues of ...

We stopped at a cute little pub whee we had the best tapas I tried in Spain. Also had 2 Euro sangrias.. how can you go wrong?... We then waked across the bridge to ...

We chose it mostly because you can get around on foot (or by donkey-as there are no motor vehicles allowed). The locals in Athens recommended it more than any other island (as their personal favorite - not as touristy, etc.) and we were not to be ...

We came to Karystos for our afternoon stroll since it is only a 15 minute drive from Marmari. The new road is much shorter and wider. I remember years back the road was narrow with many blind corners.

Karystos has a picturesque harbor with a jetty and a quay as well as a promenade shaded with rows of trees. On the upper side of the promenade there are all sorts of café bars, ...
