    ... a Saturday was quite amazing. This continued through the whole city and the roads were not jam packed with cars making the ambience much better.

    ... the lack of washing so we did some. Note to self, don't do washing last thing because if it doesn't spin, you are stuck... thankfully after pressing some combination of buttons on the Miele (found on most sites) the spin section started and washing was done.
    So, of the 4 pitches around us, three were gone when we awoke (you know we don't do early and what's the point of leaving at 9 to hit rush our traffic?)

    ... We walked the 300 metres around the lake and then followed one of the forest walks for a while. It was a public holiday so there were many people out with their Nordic poles enjoying the forest. Of course there was a hotel and the customary gift and food shops.     ... avoided as much as possible. At times the motorway came to a complete stop (once for at least 15 min) without obvious reason. On a number of occassions we passed long lines (kilometers long) of semi-trailers the Police had stopped in the 'fast lane' - can only assume they judged conditions too dangerous to have cars and trucks together on the motorway.
    Official motorway speed is 130km/hr but recommends 110 km/hr ...
