          This is a wonderful spot to stay to experience old town Amsterdam. Located right along one of the major loop canals, you can walk right across the street to grab either a canal boat or a tour bus. And public transportation of all kinds is within a block of the hotel. Lots of good food places and museums within easy walking distance. Hotel is fairly quiet on upper floors and well kept. Bathroom space is snug but adequate.

          ... we only had to go one stop. We made it to the central station no problem, then went to the ticket office and all bought our tickets and boarded the correct train.           We had Brekky at the hotel we walked to the central train station and jumped on a blue canal line where we saw a windmill and the marina, the blue line was the longet of them all.
