Today we flew over to Holland to start our 6 day stay. It was an early start with the cab picking us up from Mikes at 5.00am to go to Gatwick. Hello everybody, I am sitting in a DIJK house looking over a river called Merwede.
A. and I. my friends were waiting for me at the airport. Their house is built in an old dike in Sliedrecht. You enter the place at the middle floor and very steep stairways bring you to the second floor, with a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The roof is of course sloped but I have not yet banged my head.

Summary: Today we took a train trip to the city of Leiden, did more touring of The Hague, visited a large park near our B&B with huge rose gardens, and then took an evening bus ride to the nearby seaside town of Kijkduin.
