... was beautiful on quiet paths through fields and on dykes. The weather was the warmest all week and most of us took one layer off - only two more to go before riding in jerseys! I kept the lighter tights on and wasn't too warm. The ride after lunch got a bit crazier as we got closer into Amsterdam as we headed to the Ooster dock and our ship. It took a lot of concentration and good luck to get all 24 of us through all of ...

Today we flew over to Holland to start our 6 day stay. It was an early start with the cab picking us up from Mikes at 5.00am to go to Gatwick. Our flight on BA was at 7.50am so we got there in plenty of time. Mike will laugh at this because he was giving us **** about leaving so early. The flight went well as it is only 50min flying time. It nearly takes as long to taxi to Schipol from the runway as it takes to fly ...

After a few hours of riding we stopped by a little restaurant to have a snack. We sat on the dock right on the canal with boats passing by. Brian to my surprise ordered a plate of liverwurst. He got a lot more than he thought and it was just a ...

At the Train Station we shopped for Banana, Orange Juice and Milk at JUMBO - like Aldi we collected our bikes and rode home. By this stage my legs were very tired and i couldn;t ride up ...

Of course whenever there was turbulence I'd freak out and go into mini-panic modes, but for the most part It was pretty uneventful, some things I noticed up until now:

-In Florida all the major highways and busy areas are around the beach and then it starts to get less crowded the more inland you go. I was so surprised to see the shores of the Netherlands ...
