vyfotili a popřáli si vzájemně dobrý večer. V blízké
Biedronce jsme nakoupili něco na večeři a sekli sebou v přístavu
na lavičku. Dali jsme si nějaké to pivo a čekali, kdy se objeví
policie, ale naštěstí se nestalo. Do odjezdu autobusu bylo ještě
nějakých pět hodin. Tak jsme se courali městem a zavítali do
jedné hospody. Tady jsme dobili telefony a ...
Gdansk
Vstávám
ve 4 ráno a běžím dolů do recepce, kde je sraz s Džabou a
Markem. Super jsme všichni! Běžíme na autobus, který nás hodí
do Varšavy. Jedinou linkou metra, snad i v celém Polsku, se
dostáváme na místo, odkud vyjíždí náš Polski bus směrem na
Gdaňsk. Máme trošku času, a tak se courneme kolem. Autobus má
nakonec ještě další půlhodinu zpoždění... ...
Bad Weather
We arrived late in to Gdansk on the 5th and stayed for 3 nights.
We spent to spend a day wandering Gdansk and a day wandering the nearby town of Sopot. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for our entire stay and so Gdansk and Sopot were a little disappointing.
From Gdansk we took three different trains to get to Berlin where we had arranged to couch surf with Stefan and ...
Not what it said on the tin
Drove from Gdansk to Darlowo hoping to have a nice fish lunch, but couldn't find the sea - or anyone who spoke English for that matter! It was only after we had bought ham (about a kilo!) and cheese from the deli, did we find a map to the beach.
After looking around Darlowo, we headed to our hotel- another disappointment. It was supposedly a spa located in the forest, but was located directly beside the highway, and with no AC. Lucky we didn't book two ...
A bit of sightseeing
... part of the city. MY uncle took us there, and left going to deal with his stuff giving us more than an hour to see the sights. So we did so :).
The place is not organized what bothers me most. They used the building of the old Richter's granary for the tea shop. Other buildings like a watermill or a castle are the part of the exhibitions of the Pomeranian Museum. What the place need is some money ...
