With time for a beer at the lake before returning the bikes, we then head down to swim in the lake. Cooler than we were expecting, we are pleased to have been in anyway. And I am pleased that I did come here after all.
Once again, we eat the meal the hostel cooks for us but it's a quiet night ...

The afternoon rolled by and with hopes of a sunny day ahead, we decided to book a second night in the lake region on the Northern side of the lake. ... to the birthday party upon arrival at the lake last Saturday, and despite the fact that most of the activities were in Hungarian we still had fun. We thought we had a fighting chance at charades, but even that is played differently. Nevertheless, I managed to guess "butter" and Zack got "gypsey" so on some level we were able to participate. The party was for a friend turning 30, so we winery hopped played different games at each stop along the way. No bouncy castles ...

We lazed at the beach all afternoon. Of course there was no sand so
we lay on the grass. Totes better than rocks. It was the first time I've
ever had to pay for a beach. The idea of privately owned beaches is
just so repulsive to New Zealanders, but when in Europe one must do as
the Europeans do.

... br> So the plan is: Drive from here to Plitvice today and camp there 2 nights, then head down the coast of Croatia and camp one night on the road to Dubrovnik (possibly near Split as its about half way), then spend 2 nights in Dubrovnik then head back north towards Split where we will catch the boat to Ancona, Italy.
