So I'm on a 4 hour train ride to Bari, followed by a 6 hour wait for the ferry, which goes overnight to Dubrovnik. Bari being devoid of anything to do, let alone write about, I'll instead make this post a book review (I'll backfill Rome when I get to Danilo's brother's place in Belgrade).

Whenever I think back to the first day in Basilicata, images of mountains, beautiful scenery and sunny skies fill my thoughts - a lovely start to the holiday!

... would shrink. Paul did a fabulous job with driving (drives like an Itaalian now) but he didnt get to enjoy much of the view as their was nowhere to stop. Where some of the buildings were built is beyond me. The same goes for the road. It was very narrow and on my side of the car it went straight down and down and down and down. Hope that it explains it. We have arrived in Bari and our days in Italy have now ended so off to Greece for new experiences.
