... serious business greeting of the superintendent, the recieving of our proof-of-employment by the Tome BOE, and then a sit down coffee "chat" at his meeting table.
I'll be honest, I was scarred shitless. Perhaps knowing Japanese just made things worse, because then I was expected to at least say a few things, but as nervous as I was, I was pretty shakey. I mean, this is the big-boss-man, and the official formality of it all (in the traditional Japanese ...
... a Saga model bass and asked us if we wanted it and a Tora model for guitar. He also mentioned that their manager’s mother was in the audience. Nao began by saying he didn’t eat gyutan. Then he talked about his blog on Ameba and the pictures of his interesting new glasses. I need to join since he locked that entry. I can’t remember anything of Hiroto’s MC. T_T I think Shou said that he was very happy with our response, especially ...
Sendai, Miyagi, Japan maverickranger... One was a frog charm—frog being "kaeru" in Japanese, which also means “to leave”. The other was a pair of chopsticks, or hashi. She told me to use it in Southlake to build a bridge, also called “hashi”, between my two homes.

... sort of regretted not doing Vampire Knight since we saw a Kaname, but then the heat reminded us that the uniforms would’ve sucked. Comiket was a lot like Artist’s Alley of American anime cons except there was doujinshi ("amateur" comics) in addition to the prints and hand-made goods. While American cons have lots of great stuff, everything here was amazing. You don’t have people making random things from tin ...
Sendai, Miyagi, Japan maverickranger... it good. When I looked up the seating chart back home, I discovered that I’m still way in the back and that my original ticket (2nd floor, 1st row, off to the side) might have a better view. However, my new ticket still puts me closer to the band, and the vibes are going be different when you have to look down. Now I've got an extra Alice Nine concert ticket. Any takers?

... I am told so we sadly just moved on to a Chinese restaurant. It was really good Chinese food, I had a Cashew Chicken and the owners spoke better english then most Japanese since they were really Chinese.

For those of you who haven't seen the stage version of RENT, there's a song in which the hobos sing about why their Christmas sucks. It ends with "And it's beginning to snow." That was how I kind of felt yesterday when I got caught in the snow. Talk about bad timing. What made it awful was the ...
... hard because they also sang "We Are the World", played taiko and Japanese flute (same songs as the ones I learned for the Aki Matsuri which makes me sad that I wasn't invited to join T_T), and did a traditional dance. This is their last junior high school bunkasai so I can understand. I got my haircut on Sunday in Loc City. It was a little pricier than what I got back home, but they were very ...
