      ... The place was full with happy drinkers and there were plenty of students in there. Incidentally, the hostel is very close by to the Uni here. We drank a couple of beers and then we were handed a few more to drink whilst the others chanted 'fonda-fonda', to dramatise the motion of drinking alcohol. We got back at 2.30ish.

      ... m going back tomorrow. And Friday. Oh boy. Nah! It's all good. Just very different. After school, we walked home and had dinner (since it was already 5:30!) and then we met the rest of the town. I have met so many people but I don't remember their names. They are all so nice and funny! We walked around town for like 2.5 hours walking into random houses (at least random to me) and chatting with the residents. We walked by the church and I signed a sheet of paper ...

      ... There are cheaper options in the town itself, but I thought it would be nice to be in a jungle environment. It was great, falling asleep to the sound of the jungle, waking up at 5am to a beautiful sunrise, mosquito net on the bed, perfect. And very friendly and helpful people.

      ... saw mostly traditional clothing but in the rest of these parts, we also see "Americanized" brands. They are often fakes, stolen, or used. I once saw a "Nike" shoe on a "Puma" sole.

      -Used American clothing is a big business here. The clothes you donated to a good cause are here for sale on the streets of Central America. Goodwill sells bags to them by the pound.

      -Clothing brands are not scaled to the level they are marketed to be. ...

      ... shed. Other than that, the place was great, the bands were awesome and the beer was cheap! We stayed there until the last drops of energy evaporated.
