... those peaches looked SO damn good, ripe and heavy with sweet nectar, so plump that they were weighing down the branches and ready to drop with the slightest breeze. In fact, there were already dozens of peaches that had fallen to the ground and slowly started to rot, because they were so ripe. How could a guy resist? There was nothing that could've been done in the end, as I had already eaten the peach before we even noticed ...
... driving through the back roads of Troodos in our embarrassing little car, slowly making our way to Kalopanayiotis, the final destination for the evening. Along the way, we stopped for a nice lunch in a quaint little village, and picked up a few bottles of excellent wine from the Ayia Mavri winery, after a brief tour and tasting with the lovely owner of the winery ... but then things got downright comical!

then the Royal tombs of Kato Pafos.

It is only now, as I walk out of the compound, that I realise why the first church, that stood within the village proper, was so hard to find: most churches don't feature a cross, not on the roofs nor on the fašades.
The villages they're in are quaint, with narrow streets ...
