    ... is made from cumquat . I wonder if it is as good as Contreau ? After wondering I found a shop and and sampled some. I didn't mind it actually. I bought a small bottle of the Lemmoncello and the Cumquat Liqueur . There was three shelves full of Lemmoncello and immediately I thought of Michelle and her home distilled Lemmoncello and her love for Italian restaurants an the good looking waiters!     We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
    The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

    ... and winding driveway - he is an amazing driver!! • short coach ride to first ferry - about 2 hours to the next ferry port • waited around at the next ferry port for about 4 hours - lots of delays booking tickets etc • had pizza and played cards while waiting • walked to the dock and played keepy up with the boys while waiting • finally boarded ferry around 11pm, bed at around ...

    ... of streets and buildings in various states of repair. There were also a variety of plants , gardens and livestock throughout the back streets.


    We do enjoy the street food and had a tasty giros for lunch. The homemade pita bread was light and crispy if a little salty. As the temperature was close to 30C we needed to rehydrate before heading up the hill and a swim as we got back to camp.
