Ahoy everybody,

Yesterday was a little more of a relax day for us. Our original plans did not go to plan. Our intention was to go to the island of Brac, however by the time we got ourselves organised in the morning, we were unable to find a boat that would take us across to the island (I think the story had got to Brela about our shipwrecked boat). We then decided to walk a few kilometres along the promenade and found many pebbly beaches. We found space on one ...

Always an adventure ...

Although it had faded with years of roaring surf, I managed to decipher the word "Hajduk". Obviously not being Croatian, I had no idea what it meant but my curiosity was further piqued when I saw a little ...

... what the HELL happened? Thank GOD it will grow back!!!!!!!!!"

I lather my head with Loretta"s 70 sunscreen, we put on our suits and off we went. After a slightly confusing walk, we found our destination; Bacvice Beach. There is a sandy part and then a promenade to stake your claim; we decide on the promenade with an unobstructed view of the sea. The water in the bay goes very gradually from ankle deep to neck high and the temperature is perfect. A great way ...
