... the world. Another guy wanted to talk ice hockey. And another 'South Park'.. Ha. We played YouTube videos of South Park clips on our phone. That being said, it was a great night, one where I really found a connection with some locals beyond small talk. Well, with good conversation, came many, many drinks. ... from a town east of here. Košice wasn't on my map to begin with, but it is now. Well, I thought the six hours here would be enough to walk the city center, then catch my evening train into Hungary. Wouldn't you know it, it pounding rain. I could barely get out of the train station for a look around. I did manage to make it a few blocks, wet jean bottoms and hoody, but what I saw got me really interested and enthused. ...

... the main square after sunrise and after getting Euros at an ATM. We're back to the Euros here, but we'll be hitting countries again that don't use it. That means prices are a bit higher, but still quite reasonable for Europe.

We walked around a bit and took photos of the buildings and fountains. They also have a lovely Opera House, and it was completed at about the same time as the ones in Lviv, Budapest, and Vienna.

... shot, she realises that sunflowers are invariably all facing the sun and thus also in the wrong direction for good photography! She wonders whether they turn their heads during each day (no time to stop & watch). AG does not know the answer. BTW, what happens to sunflowers on dull days when there is no sun?
