... one when we entered and now we’re not getting one when we leave. I was quite looking forward to having a fluffy spaniel snuffling about the boat and Chrisy really likes dogs. I feel a bit miffed. There’s also this thing in the back of my mind that we’re obviously not drug smugglers … what does that say about us … what our boat isn’t big enough, it’s not shiny and new. Anyhow the nice policeman escorted us down the river in his RIB and out ...
Playa Francesca, Canary Islands, Spain sharkita... BBQ. There was more meat on the table than even Kevin could have wished for. Along with a huge bowl of Sangria - MMMmmm. We met some lovely people; Linda and Marge; her mum and Linda's husband Federico and their gorgeous son! We met Cliff and Clair who spend a lot of time abroad each year and stay in Jose's apartment in Playa Blanca. A great day.

... lots of them, secondly don´t throw up on the wind-ward side of the boat because it ends up all over you and the boat (although by that point I couldn´t have cared less) and thirdly make sure your harness line is long enough so that you can actually reach the edge of the boat to vomit.
I did actually make it up onto deck for about half an hour that night and was able to just about appreciate the beautiful stars and the phophoresence as the ...
Arrived at Playa Blanca after a twenty minute ride from the airport at about 9.30. Atlantic Garden Bungalows were very nice and peaceful right on the shore and clean and lovely.
What a nice time we had, reading, walking along the promenade which stretches right from the Lighthouse in the SW, to the Marina Rubicon, just short of Papagayo Beach. Lovely.
The heat was ...
Mercury Rising left Puerto Calero and many good nights behind, on 17th November. We set sail for the Atlantic crossing after a final farewell with family and friends. That morning, we joined Jackame and left Lanzarote with favorable weather ...
Arrecife, Canary Islands, Spain mercuryrisingThis was the tour I had been looking forward to most. A trip to Fire Mountain and look at some real volcanoes complete with Lava flows, caldera's, and collapsed lava tunnels. In addition we also went to the coast and saw how the sea interacts with lava recently (1736), deposited extending the ...

Corralejo is a beautiful port in the north of Fuerteventura, and especially the area around the harbour where there are many restaurants and nice sandy beaches.
From the port here one can have access to Los Lobos Island which is very near, and Lanzarotte ...
A STROLL IN THE CITY AND THE CENTRAL BEACHES
There are clouds in the sky today, and I don't feel like going swimming.
It is a day of taking photos!
The stroll is great because there is a sea breeze that makes my walk pleasant.
... We had a green ribbon round our wrist which was the sign of –all inclusive. I could see people eating without a ribbon though!
I was curious to see the kind of quality the hotel would have, as well as the quantity. I was surprised indeed!
It included everything for everyone's taste.
There was fish and meat, pizza, different fruit, desserts, ice cream, -- anything a person ...
... and I suppose if you had to compare it to something it's like a desert only black. Even the numerous mountains are all shades of black and dark brown with no greenery at all (very weird). Anyway we get to our destination which is a lovely seaside resort, and there are a lot of boat trips that leave from this side of the island, and we enjoy watching the ferry's carrying their human cargo to the other islands. We have left it a bit late this time to go ...
