We met Cliff and Clair who spend a lot of time abroad each year and stay in Jose's apartment in Playa Blanca. A great day.

Arrived at Playa Blanca after a twenty minute ride from the airport at about 9.30. Atlantic Garden Bungalows were very nice and peaceful right on the shore and clean and lovely.

What a nice time we had, reading, walking along the promenade which stretches right from the Lighthouse in the SW, to the Marina Rubicon, just short of Papagayo Beach. Lovely.

Corralejo is a beautiful port in the north of Fuerteventura, and especially the area around the harbour where there are many restaurants and nice sandy beaches.

There are clouds in the sky today, and I don't feel like going swimming.

It is a day of taking photos!

The stroll is great because there is a sea breeze that makes my walk pleasant.

... We had a green ribbon round our wrist which was the sign of –all inclusive. I could see people eating without a ribbon though!



I was curious to see the kind of quality the hotel would have, as well as the quantity. I was surprised indeed!

It included everything for everyone's taste.

There was fish and meat, pizza, different fruit, desserts, ice cream, -- anything a person ...

... and I suppose if you had to compare it to something it's like a desert only black. Even the numerous mountains are all shades of black and dark brown with no greenery at all (very weird). Anyway we get to our destination which is a lovely seaside resort, and there are a lot of boat trips that leave from this side of the island, and we enjoy watching the ferry's carrying their human cargo to the other islands.
