Arrived in Heraklion
... other (they're only having a conversation really!) and all sorts of airport staff sat in a long line wearing sun glasses and smoking cigarettes. We jump in a taxi straight away and for 12 euros we reach our Hotel. The city is only 4 kilometres west of the airport and it only takes 10 minutes to get there. Quite an entertaining short drive though...as while the car was making a persistent beep beep ...
Kreta
... van een prachtige zonsondergang. Het buffet biedt ontzettend veel keuze en het ziet er allemaal heel lekker uit. Als voorgerecht nemen we sushi, sashimi, een krabbenpoot en salade. Als hoofdgerecht houden we het erg bescheiden met enkel een gegrilde kreeftenstaart. Het is ongelooflijk maar ik denk dat ik hier al alle dagen kreeft gegeten heb. Ook hier was het weer erg lekker.
Na het eten maken we nog een wandelingetje en dan gaan we eens vroeg naar bed. ...

Goodbye Crete
... who works at this resort. She was lovely and funny. We talked about different nationalities and had some funny stories to tell. She mentioned that Greece is taken over by rich Russians and French but we thought it was more Brits. She said she likes Aussies but not so keen on some others.
