... about Zadar is the "Sea Organ" and the Sun Salutation. This is an installation in a public park at the end of the peninsula on the sea. It's a 35 pipe organ that's under the pavement. When the water moves, it creates waves through pipes that "fuel" the organ. It's a subtle sound and pretty cool as you walk along the sea. When a boat moves past, the organ gets louder and more notes are played.

I walked to the end of the walking only district, went for a swim and soaked up some rays. I wandered the streets of Zadar for the rest of the afternoon which was very entertaining, the city is much more run down than Zagreb and has a completely different feel to it, almost like Mexico with the concrete apartments and street markets.

... landing area to the new challenge, the kids did it masterfully. We were so impressed.

We found it interesting that children come to the park, they are issued instructions and them off the go and do it... they have birthday parties with 20+ children and the kids just do it themselves. Can't imagine a park in Australia where 6 yr olds are left to go through a challenging obstacle course like this... all our insurance and other requirements. It is good to get the kids ...

... this place, asking several times for directions on the way. In the end, we established that Azil was not a building but some nut living in a wood. We found the place but not him....there were about 50 dogs all on chains in the middle of this wood....I would never have left any animal there. The little wee thing was absolutely petrified. We carried on driving thinking maybe we could leave him on a campsite ...
