Tuesday, head pounding, I scrambled to pack my exploded back pack, have a shower and run to the airport! The flight to Gatwick was all fine and dandy and I think mom was pleased I was quite happy to stay in and chilllllllll :)

We left in the afternoon on Weds for Ljubliana in Slovenia for the wedding on Saturday. The flight was a little insane and we landed with a total thump due to some serious fog… scary but ...

... in the middle of the mountains. We find our hostel where we will be staying overnight among the little winding roads up the hill a bit. The hostel is very nice and we have a 4-bed dorm which for us is a private room. It is still raining a bit but after putting in some laundry and settling in we head for the lake with umbrellas handy. ... it was about 9pm. After dinner, we wandered along the river and explored the city. We also stopped and got gelato, because I was still hungry after my trout ordering fiasco. It was delicious. After the gelato, we started making our way back to the hotel because it was getting really late and we were both exhausted. We finally got back to the hotel close to midnight and went to bed to wake up early and try again.
