... customs, into a taxi to arrive at Tony's apartment on Palm Beach. I had achieved the journey out and felt good. My gratitude to everyone who helped is beyond words and with a special 'thank you' to the wheelchair angel at Tenerife South airport who managed to clear a speedy flight path through crowds of passengers with her verbal beep beeping and deliver me from aircraft to taxi in record time.

... into my world there. It was so perfect. I have to say, if they spoke french, I would move there! LMAO.
Fun fact about the Spanish Canary Islands. They are closer to Africa than they are to Spain. One of the Islands is also the birth place of that language composed seulement of whistling! Very Very cool!

Burger King at the airport - yes to a Whopper! Then aboard our flight. Had great sunset views with the volcano: El Teide sillhouetted against the back drop and the clouds falling away beneath us. A perfect end to a perfect trip. Our first together, but hopefully not our last.

Spent the rest of the day eating lunch, playing Fluxx, having a snooze, taking over the world in Risk and just relaxing. Went out for food where I had a hamburger and Anthony had a Mexican skewer. Then San Fran malfunctioned and ...
... t busy, what with being the very beginning of the tourist season, but this suited us just fine as we wanted a quiet meal. Had a mixed starter, which was great because you get to sample a range of food and then shared a green and red Thai curry - just like in Chester.
After a stroll back to our apartment in the cool evening breeze, we finished watching our episode of Top Gear and then crashed out after another fun and relaxing day.
