... past dark on our first night.. We found a nearby restaurant to eat and in light of new experiences had... We had a three course meal to celebrate our survival!! Haha :) We downloaded an app advertised at dinner and that gave us a good insight into the best beaches on the island and other activities to do or places to eat while we were there. Let day 1 commence! We drove out the first day to the car park at the main beach Cala Galdana but due to the ...
... ens podiem perdre Menorca, ja fa 9 estius que hi anem. El dia que marxem, ja tenim ganes de tornar-hi. Com ho fariem sense l'ensaimada, la sobrassada, la caldereta al Balear? I LOVE MENORCA. Sempre fa sol, les platges fantàstiques, l'aigua tan blava. I aquest any varem poder veure els cavalls de les festes de Fornells! Impressionant.
Normally I wouldn't go to visit places because I prefered staying in the hotel and when I had to go out with my father I was very angry with parents. So for this reason, they had to stay the majority of the holidays in the hotel with me and couldn't visit the tourist places of the ...
... 9:15, having had a bit too much to drink, we head for The Restaurant, have a nice dinner and a great wrap up for the day. James and Ricky are there with a large group at an adjacent table. We agree to meet for our final dinner tomorrow night. We shall look forward to that.
Upon arrival back at 715, we are greeted with a note that tells us to set our clocks back one hour before retiring tonight. That is a wonderful thing; getting a ...
... were off....
A gruelling 250nm passage from the southern tip of Sardinia. We managed to complete the journey in 36hrs with a top speed of 10.4 knots (Theo - I was not amused) and an average of about 8knots. The wind consistently blew a 15 knots with occasional gusts of up to 20 knots. It was a lumpy sea making everyone except Richard feel queasy down below. ...
Historical Traveler Reviews Apartamentos Binimar Ciudadela
We booked in faith with Airtours to the Binimar apartments in Cala n Forcat, Minorca. We booked the holiday on the understanding that the accommodation was 3+ stars rated and had a family friendly, "village" style atmosphere, and were looking forward to our holiday. The holiday was booked online via the Airtours website.
What can I say. Was there in July this year for two weeks. 2nd time around, had been two years previous also. Entertainment fab, we even ended up in one of the shows. John Travolta eat your heart out.
Apartments lovely and clean, kids clubs great. I have a nine year old and a three year old and both love the Binimar. We do go self catering though as there as lots of nice restaurants not too far from the apartments.
Would go back again definately.
The first time we went to the Binimar we were allocated on arrival. We loved it so much we have been back twice and will very likely go back again. It's clean and the staff are very friendly. We've alway gone self catering so we can't comment on the food but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The two nearest beaches are quite small but there is a larger one nearby with watersports but who needs a beach with three pools! Entertainment every night but mainly for the children. Would recommend the Binimar anytime.
The best holiday ever!!!!
the best holiday i've ever had
there was a choice of three pools, plenty of sunbeds for everyone!
activities for everyone everyday
entertainment till midnight everynight
nice clean room!
Fantastic family holiday
Recently returned from one week half board holiday at the Binimar. We have a 3 1/2 yr old and a 3 month old baby and have just had a fantastic holiday. The 3 pools are lovely, the entertainment is excellent, plently for the family to do. My son has been dancing till midnight and knows the 'Court of King Caracticus(?) off by heart!! Food option for half board not great, but worth it for the convenience of 'there if you need it'. Would definitely go back again and would not hesitate recommending it or the area to anyone else.
Just returned from the Binimar, and god was I relieved when I finally got there! Travelled with my mam and 3yr old and was dreading going after reading some of the reviews.
I was there last July with my husband and 2 son's aged 7 and 3. The apartments were very clean, entertainment staff were excellent for night time activities aswell as day time activities. The pool's were all child friendly. It's great for families. Don't have a bad thing to say about it. All the resort was very child friendly. Would go back in a minute :-)
Just returned from a fortnight at the binimar resort with my wife and children and it was fantastic the kids had plenty to do and the entertainment was fantastic already booked up for next year.
Just got back from a week at the Binimar Apartments, Menorca. It was a last minute deal and named accommodation on arrival. We weren't dissappointed the apartment was basic but clean, the beds and pillows were extremeley comfortable, entertainment in the hotel was above average and that is where we stayed most of the time because it was pretty quiet everywhere else. First time for both my friend and myself in Menorca and would definateley go back there again, we thought the island was very pretty. I probably would not go back to the Binimar in high season only because it caters mostly for children and I could imagine that it would be pretty noisy then, however, on saying that Ii am thinking of taking my grandaughter there as they are marvellous with kiddies (the hotel staff and the reps)
my husband and myself came home yesterday from menorca we stayed at the binimar apartments and i must say it was the best holiday i have been on.the accomadation was first class very clean the pools were great the staff very friendly. all in all a smashing holiday
