... light lunch we had the bright idea of trying to find one of the 14 villages in Europe called Malta. According to our map it was in the hills close to the border. Up we went, we are used to hairpin bends but these were on a very steep incline. ... left Split on our boat, Sika, complete with 5 Kiwis (Terri, Bryce and Craig + 2 others), one Aussie and two Americans. Being a small yacht, there was only one crew member, but the Irish guy delivered on all fronts, skippering, cleaning, cooking and most importantly partying (he has gained the nickname of "Slurms the party worm" from other skippers at Med Sailors).
