What a full day we had! Started with an almost 2km walk along the city wall, with spectacular views of the city and the ocean. Tried the cable car but the internet was down so we couldn't buy tickets. Stopped at the fresh produce market for delicious watermelon and got a goodie bag with beans, brinjal and red pepper plus a fabulously sweet peach for me. ... same size round but only two inches or so high. There are rows of shops selling the brand names and others selling tacky souvenirs! Once again the gelato shops are out in full force!!! And it's clean. Really, really clean. Not a piece of litter or cigarette butt in site.
