We drove from the Malaga coast to Ronda, the road which was 1200 meters above sea level and about 1 hour drive inland. The road was steep but very good. Our camper had no problems getting there. Home through the beautiful countryside in time to have another wonderful meal here at Al Lago. The serving staff are so kind ( 3 sisters who do all the serving) and patient. Took a tour of the bullring and it's museum. It is the oldest bullring in Spain and is still in use every Sunday and every day during festivals. Off to mass in the morning then kill animals in the afternoon! The tour was quite fascinating, outlining how bullfighting first started (apparently a development of medieval jousting) and how it has changed over the years. The horses for example are now fully protected in leather so are never injured, whereas before the 1940s several would ...
