We built a fire and roasted weiners and marshmallows, which was the perfect break from traditional german fare...even if they don't have relish, and only dijon mustard! And the crunchy french fried onions on the hotdogs was a little different too, and since when do weiners come in a jar! But anyway...it was good...even if the marshmallows were really goopy :) The kids had too ...

We then drove out to there small town called Ramsbeck. It is in a very beautiful area with the traditional german houses it looked just like a postcard. We watched little britian in the evening ...

Monday evening after we KILLED our M&A presentation, we headed out for supper with Prof Böhler who brought us to Ratskeller, this amazing restaurant in Paderborn. Every semester he takes the Canadian students out for supper and was it ever good!! We had a really great time and were very fortunate for him to have done this, it was really nice of him that's for sure ...

... admit I'm learning quite a bit!! Hopefully by the time I get back, I'll be able to talk German with ease...I even ordered my beer at the Phlaumenbaum yesterday in German...hehe Although saying "Eins DAB" isn't too difficult!! haha But I'll save my stories of this week for my next entry as well as the story of my first Döner!!!
