This was to be our last day. On waking we both wondered where 3 weeks had gone. It had just flown by. We only wished we could turn the clock back and start the holidays again. It had been so nice for Mac to meet all of Anthea's South African relatives, and spend time in the place she was born and grow up. We will be back often from now on.

So, I thought this first day would be a boring day, with a standard flight to Frankfurt and then boarding a plane headed to Nagoya.

NOPE. Fate had a few surprises in store.

There's a big Typhoon going on that delayed my flight 7 hours. I was supposed to leave around 13:30, I'm leaving at (estimated) 20:30.

I made it off the almost 12hrs combined flight from NYC to Cairo! It was mostly uneventful for passengers on both flights NR- Frankfurt and Frankfurt to Cairo. But for me…well.
