... deserted at 6am. The cleanup crews had things under control. There were only a few stayers around, some still drinking, others eating and the remainder on their way home to sleep off their night.

The lady at the station made us wait 10 mins until she moved over to the international window at exactly 6:30am - opening time. No bikes to Zagreb. Bugger. We thought better so returned to the Castle, sat out on the balcony (Twas very pleasant) ...

... which were very charming, not necessarily expected by either of us. All of the people we met were very friendly to us, the only problem was that they generally only spoke Hungarian and German, which made Chris pick his brain saying every word he could think of in those languages!
