Next we headed towards Lake Balaton in Western Hungary, the Hungarian equivalent of the Shuswap Lake in British Columbia. Today we left Budapest and drove an hour to Lake Balaton. All the HUngarians flock here because it's the closest thing they have to an ocean and it's the biggest lake in Europe. We had pizza along the lake while listening to the waiters scream at the cooks who war ringing bells every few seconds for them to deliver the food. Big headache.
