... bar for the night. It was also hilarious for us dripping freezing 18 Aussies trying to get a table for dinner! We ended up eating take away pizza in a little shop. Turned out to be cheaper and quicker! The next day I woke up at 6am from the boat engine and struggled to sleep from the boat rocking and our room creaking. However the weather was beautiful and we sat up on the top of the boat watching the panoramic views. Finally we had a swim stop and it ...

... swimming shorts. I searched for a suitable shop all the way around this town but sadly had no luck. Finally back on my bike and time to head for the town of Split. Last time we were here, we saw it from the outside, but we've never been inside. It's the third oldest operating synagogues in Europe with only a one year hiatus in World War II. We read there is no rabbi, but each Friday there is a service with 100 people, mostly tourists.

... br> Yesterday night we had THE BEST dinner so far- Ivan's mother and sister came over with a friend from Canada. His mum made a traditional Croatian chicken dish but it wasn't just the food that was good- it was the interesting preparation. We dug up the fire pit and laid down bricks and then built a HUGE fire on top- it was literally 3-4m high and we were worried about setting the entire bush on fire! (we went through about 4 loads of wood) After the fire ...
