Well, it is hard to believe that our time in Croatia is coming to an end. For those of you who missed our last blog, (HERE) we have to be out of this country by midnight on January 30th - so says the not-so-happy Magistrate red-lipstick-lady. Just to be on the safe side, we are leaving a day early.

... s Palace. Had to get another room at the Park Hotel since our upgraded room that we paid extra for had twin beds and was about the size of a broom closet. After some discussion at the desk, they gave us a sea view suite, that we found out wasn't made up when we went to the room. Additionally, the hotel closes tomorrow for the season and reconstruction. ...

Flashback 4 weeks ago today I was lying in the emergency room in a Melbourne hospital waiting to have my appendix out. My main concern to the surgeon was if I would be able to go on our 8 day cycling and sailing tour in Croatia in 4 weeks time.
