... we we told checkin at the Hotel would be 2.30 but once we returned from lunch we were told we could get our key in 5 minutes at 1.30. We had just got our key when Rachel arrived with her takeaway lunch of 2 salads. We were on the 1st floor so up we go - no stairs, so by lift. ... not too exciting. At night we went out for dinner - I forgot how much I hate people smoking in restaurants! Back to hostel - didn't get a great sleep as the bed was pretty uncomfy and the walls weren't very soundproof - Russian baby next door cried all night!! When I booked the Hotel inMilan for our stopover, at 3am or whatever time I was up booking things, I booked for three people. People, always check your confirmation details before booking with booking.com . A bit crankymaking and expensive.
