... we met and then came back...not a lot to be said for this area except the Port and Shipping Canal was something to see but being on the A1, stopping to take pictures of massive container ships being load or unloaded as well as sailing under very high bridges may not the be the local Polizie's idea of sight seeing!

... Brunch. Here we were joined by Johanna's mother, who coincidently had come to Bremen the night before and was also leaving on Monday. ... dotted with corn and farmland. For the first time there were children on this train. Paul had fun tripping them as they ran up and down the aisle.

Germany is very green, vegetation is lush and the farmland looks rich. We also noticed farms with Shetland ponies, lots of fat milk cows and plenty of sheep.Kate, Till and Liam were at the train station in Bremen to pick us up. Liam was somewhat shy and really didn't want to say much to us.

... level and used to flood but not anymore. We ate at Kaiser Friedrich Restaurant. A traditional northern German cuisine. Susie had a half portion of two traditional dishes - Knipp and Lapskaus - which came our on two plates!! We drank Duckstein Beer. We had a wonderful evening.
