    ... the building is supposed to house the city orchestra, but cost blowouts and construction delays mean that it still isn't finished. It was supposed to cost 241 Million Euros and be finished in 2010, but four years later and it still isn't finished. The current estimate is an opening in 2017 at a total cost of 789 Million Euros! I can't imagine what a room at the hotel there will cost!

    ... out of the train it was chaos. There were people for miles around and the local kiosks were overrun with people getting last minute drinks and snacks for the game.     With my father and his partner Carole in Europe on a whirlwind holiday, we received an invitation to catch up with them in Hamburg.
