Trendy Hamburg.....Edgy and sophisticated
... Del called it Neandathal food - its her new diet, drinking hot chocolate with a big dash of rum, (well steve did) while listening to a local duo with light snow falling on us.... now this is Europe.
On day three we headed to the town of Luebeck 45 min by rail. Great town with plenty to explore but rain, rain and more rain, which drove us to limit our time there but it is a pretty place which deserved more exploration.

... like a sandwich. We also tried a cinnamon and sugar swirl for dessert. We did a bit of poking around the market, and really enjoyed the little hut with the Christmas decorations and crèche figurines. It was very crowded, but there were so many beautiful wood carvings and painted glass ornaments. Lisa ended up buying a Santa figurine with a spring on its head for her family’s ugly Santa collection. We headed back to the hostel for a much-needed early ...
Es geht los
... ziemlich genau 20 Stunden nur im Flugzeug verbringen würde und das will ich nicht hoffen...
Dennoch werde ich erst am 4. Dezember (dafür morgens um halbsieben juhu -.-) in Melbourne landen und euch damit dann 10 Stunden vorraus sein!

Jetzt sind wir auf der Zielgeraden
Jetzt sind es noch 2 Monate und wir haben immer noch kein Visum für Vietnam und Australien. Für Australien braucht man keins, wenn man nur für 3 Monate im Land ist. Wir möchten aber 6 Monate am Stück dort bleiben. dafür braucht man dann aber auch ein Visum im Vorraus :-S naja, wie immer, alles auf den letzten Drücker ;-)
Wir haben schon die ersten Besucher. Manus Eltern kommen uns Anfang April für 2 Wochen besuchen, sehr schön:-) Die sind noch aufgeregter als wir....

We ended up arriving Hamburg at about 7, so it was dark. We found our way to the generator hostel just across the road from central station. Once we adjusted to the bright green we were greeted with, we went on a hunt for somewhere to eat. After passing many restaurants, many of them being Italian, we settled on a tapas place.
