... and gladly paid for what we thought it was worth. I have thought that our trip to Croatia so far has been the hardest destination to travel to and for one reason or another things haven't worked out the way we have expected them to. Following our tour, we met back up with Erenna and walked along the waterfront, which really is a nice area. There was a festival going on, but we couldn't see much of the performance since the area was quite crowded.

... newest island rose from the ocean about 50 years ago. Also, the islands have large colonies of article terns and puffins. The ride was quick, that being good, since there was quite a roll. Several passengers used the paper boxes supplied by the ferry. I am not sure I could have stood it for another 30 minutes. The rain was tapered off after awhile and we got some nice viewing of the birds. We walked first up part way on the new lava that flowed out in 1973, then went across town ...
