... how can they expect the normal person to drive?? The road to Dubrovnik is generally away from the coast so is nothing special at first. Finally it comes out by the coast and hugs the cliff edge for quite a few miles and gives some great views of wonderful Dubrovnik from high up. At one point I pulled over into a layby above the city and here once again is one of Croatia's wonderful little wild cats begging for food and simply feeling sorry for himself. As per usual I just ...

This made us feel a bit edgy the next morning since we had to sail through a storm on our way to Korcula. It didn't help that the skipper commented 'if my mother knew I was out in this, she would be concerned!'. It was pretty rough and a few people were looking green! Thankfully by the time we got the port it had cleared and sun came out. We all had lunch at the ...

... haircut), rubbed a toe for good luck (the large statue of Grgur Ninski - who's toe has become rather shiny as a result of this practise!) and had an early night. Full of beans the next day we hiked up to the Marjan park to get a view of split, had a dip at the beach and chilled out with a cocktail in the glorious sunshine while we waited for my mate Dav. "Jeez, you packed light" was my first thing I mentioned, noticing only a small backpack on his back. To which I got ...
