Scoop we hear a walking tour guide go past and we all agree to tag on inconspicuously until we find where the old part of town is, we walk and walk and walk past a beautiful Marina and the group stop, we casually walk past as not to look suspicious and the girls have a wee break, it is at this point we find out this tour is going the complete opposite direction from the old town. We met our guide without any trouble and got on the bus with our audio guide, programmed in various languages and timed to more or less coordinate with the location of the bus. ... I don't really know much about the history of it, but it was cool to see an area that wasn't just ruins. There were little alleyways and plazas to walk around and enjoy. My favorite was one plaza where there was an old church, bell tower, and an area with steps to sit on. A restaurant has turned the steps into an outdoor sitting area with cushions. It was very cool to act out this ancient scene.
