Woken up at 7:30 by the sun streaming in the balcony window. So got up for early morning coffee then down to the Pacific Restaurant for breakfast. With Morgan's Bar (they do a mean G&T and a tasty Chip Butty, by the way), Rob and Mark's Convenience Store through to a number of other eateries all within easy walking distance there is small need to leave this piece of Little Britain, if that is what you like, and I guess some people do not ...

... probably no swimming at all.

Nonetheless, we were exhausted and relieved to make it to Cartagena at last the next day (quite early on, as our anchorage was only about three hours away). The sun was bright and hot, the sky blue, there were palm trees all around and there's both a museum and a concert hall right next to the marina.

We'd chosen a great week to arrive, as Cartagena was partway through its annual festival ...
