We were in Stuttgart this week for work, so we took a short trip to explore Ludwigsburg. It was a cold day and we stopped for second breakfast at Residenz Cafe which was a 5th generation family business. Outside the shop was a mobile bakery with loads of cakes and breads (brot). First stop in Stuttgart was a German bakery. There I had one of the best tasting pastries I have ever had in my life...even though I couldn't pronounce the name of it. The cappuccino was a refreshing pick-me up after my long flight.

After a quick breakfast at the bakery I reached my hotel in the smaller town of Schorndorf. It's ...
