    ... travel and budgets. We have to make conscious decisions to walk away from it sometimes as it can become all consuming but we keep pressing on because the result is all not only the amazing places we are seeing but the journey we are living. Good times are always just around the corner.

    Well I am in Motoring museum heaven! Porsche and Mercedes Benz all within half an hour of each other, by train that is. Once again the german idea of direction was an experience, they truly are terrible, but they don't mean it, it must be in their character!

    One thing Paul discovered – we never have a lot of dishes in Canada… I think Mom is the queen on how many dishes you can use.

    ... the NH hotel near the Stuttgart airport. It is a business hotel and we got a last minute deal in this lovely 4 star hotel. It also has a tub. We stayed in and cozied up against the cold windy weather and ate some sandwiches we had packed and watched the only English station they had on the telly.
