... and drove to our hotel just outside of Stuttgart where we met Taylor's employee, Britta. After checking in, we drove to downtown Stuttgart. Britta took us to the Rathaus (town hall) and showed us an interesting elevator thing called a paternoster. It's like an doorless, continually moving multi-cab elevator. Once checked out of the hotel we drove to the Porsche museum. This museum was much smaller that Mercedes and was all about cars and racing. Ali thinks she has found her new car once she gets her license. Keep dreaming sweetie!

We started our day with a delicious light breakfast at and before our tour of the Mercedes Benz factory. The tour was wonderful. We learned about the advances MB has made in cars recently, saw the production line where robots and humans do the assembly. It is so orderly and seemingly perfect in its processes. Errors are not tolerated. The people I the assembly plant study for three years before they start the job. ...
