Bused into town. Wow, the heat is intense, 33 again today. We knew nothing about the Carthaginian and Roman history of this town, so lots to see and read. Late start after John did some computer work. Decided to take the slow, non-motorway road close to the coast. Very disappointing scenery - high rises along the coast, obviously facing the sea. Every bit of land on the opposite side was taken up with growing fruit (mainly oranges) and vegies, or with derelict farm buildings. Not attractive at all.
