Eine anfangs ziemlich wackelige aber spassige Angelegenheit :)).
Wenn man sich dran gewöhnt hat, kommt auch schnell die Selbstüberschätzung!
Die führt einen dann direkt ins Fangnetz ;) . Wenns aber erst mal läuft , eine ziemlich coooole Sache!!

Finally, after asking around and getting the wrong directions 3 times, I arrived at a computer place and researched places to stay in town. There were no hostels, only hotels or apartments, so I went with a surf school´s townhouse. It is basically a relatively inexpensive accomodation for surfers, and I figured, why the heck not go there and make friends with cool, chilled out surf ...
Crew Birthday
... taking a look at the harbour, when Kerry saw us and waved us into a vacant berth in the marina. It was good to see him and catch up as we last saw him in Gibraltar. We were intending to anchor off that night as the pilot book warned of extreme "katabatic" winds in this marina, but things always look better after a landing beer or two, and as it turned out it was perfectly calm.

South to Fuerteventura
... us much of the same landscape but with an awesome lighthouse, that was more of a mansion than a lighthouse. We dropped anchor at Gran Tarajal off a deserted beach and a huge breakwater that protected the harbour. We stayed two nights on anchor while a southerly worked its way north. Then opted for a couple of nights in the harbour as it was really cheap. 9euros a night although we didn't have access to any fresh water.

We envisage that we will be approaching our destination tomorrow morning, at first light. We are already looking forward to a Spanish breakfast with some strong coffee, which I'm sure will swiftly be followed by mojitos and bed!
