    ... a projector screening blurred images on a wall. We were welcomed at our table by an attractive Brazilian girl who had lived in Barcelona for the past five years.

    The menu was fantastic, starting with an amuse bouchée of watermelon gazpacho which was delicious and ice cold, which cooled them down after their frantic day.

    Getting "set up" has its challenges. The place needs to feel like your home for the next 3 months. You need to sort out where everything will go, so you aren’t pulling food things out of your clothing drawer or toilet paper out of the dish cupboard. We hopped on the first available bus (normally the "aerobus" is recommended but we took a random one and only spent a few Euros) and got off as close to the city centre as possible. Plus Sunday is the FC Barcelona vs. Valladolid game and my friend and I bought tickets! So excited!! They should all be celebrating their league championship! And finally, to make it all better: Monday is 2nd Easter (Pascua) so it's day off from activities.
