Headed down to the main parc and found out there are large ques to …

Reasonably early start today as we left Nimes and drove to Montpellier to catch a train to Barcelona.

Tried to get on an earlier train, but all sold out, so left our luggage at a hotel opposite the train station and headed into the town square and a visit to tourist info to start the day. Montpellier is another old town, so we headed off …

Walked to the station and caught our first Metro for the day. From here it got a little confusing but eventually found our way onto the train for Montserrat.

From BCN airport we took the Aerobus and Metro to our apartment located near Sagrada Familia. Again, it was efficient and easy and Barcelona was sunny and warm. The immediate impression is of elegant tree-lined streets. At 4 pm we gained ...

... who took us all around the city of Barcelona. More fountains, churches, Olympic center from 1992. This particular Olympics was where, during the opening ceremony, the archer shot the flaming arrow to light the flame. The torch is still there and looks like a sardine hanging upside down. Then onto the famous la familia Sagrada. La familia Sagrada was just unbelievable. It's hard to image the size of it, ...
